Daniel R. De Leon is the Chief Operating Officer at Starboard Realty Advisors, bringing with him a wealth of experience in commercial real estate and a proven track record as a dynamic leader. De Leon is skilled in rapidly assessing organizations and positioning them for effective growth through triaged actions based on immediate needs, future goals, and overall vision. With over $500M in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, and investment offerings under his belt, De Leon has a deep understanding of Regulation D §506(b) and §506(c) offerings and has placed over $200M of equity through Reg D private placements and broker-dealer offerings. In his current role, Mr. De Leon is responsible for leading all aspects of day-to-day operations at Starboard, including accounting/finance, operations, and investor relations. He manages multiple departments, and supports the CEO and President in business and strategic vison development. Mr. De Leon is dedicated to fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment and has a talent for building, developing, and training high-performing, efficient teams. Throughout his career, Mr. De Leon has been recognized for the diversity and breadth of his industry knowledge and is known for his level-headed, hands-on leadership style. He is committed to driving operational excellence and implementing strategies that drive growth and success for the company. Mr. De Leon is also skilled at identifying strategic and systemic weaknesses within an organization and leading the development and execution of necessary solutions. In addition to his operational responsibilities, De Leon is committed to building and maintaining strong relationships with key financial partners, including investors, capital providers, and lenders. He serves on the firm’s investment committee, providing insight and opinion on potential acquisition and disposition decisions, and is responsible for ensuring that legal, financial, and investor requirements are met through the creation of tailored equity structures and debt arrangements. Mr. De Leon is also skilled in building, modifying, and reviewing excel and Argus models to determine feasibility and key performance indicators during acquisition and disposition underwriting.
